Accommodation and Welfare

We have excellent host families and a residence close to the college. You are accepted as a member of the family and have many opportunities for more practise in English. The cost includes single room with half board weekdays and full board at weekends. Summer school students are given a packed lunch on weekdays.

Our Accommodation Officer keeps in close contact with our students and host families. She is available to discuss and help with any problems you may have.

You are met on arrival in England, taken to your host family, and given an information pack. On your first day in college you are taken around the town and shown the places you need to know.

If you need airport transfers, please contact the college. We advise you to fly to Leeds-Bradford airport (15km) via Amsterdam, Brussels, Paris, London and Dublin, or to Manchester Airport.

We recommend that all students take out travel, medical and possessions insurance. the college can also do this when you arrive.
